Virtual Program Library

The Arc has released a new library of resources that people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and their caregivers can find and share on-demand activities that they can use whenever it is convenient for them in the comfort of their own homes!

With many people still working from home or having to miss out on in-person gatherings, virtual activities have become more common and have progressed to create fun, creative, and inclusive activities for everyone! The Arc’s Virtual Program Library offers many options for in-home activities that can allow individuals with IDD and their caregivers to find new ways to spend their time. There are currently just above 40 different resources linked to the Virtual Program Library and the opportunities are endless! Get active with disability-inclusive fitness classes, learn life skills, play games like Jeopardy, virtually tour aquariums or museums, and more! Most of the resources are free, but some do require payment to participate.

Navigating the Virtual Program Library:

When you first open the Virtual Program Library, you will see the following homepage:

When you click on one of the resources, you will be brought to a page that provides more information, such as user accessibility, topic, prerequisites, and intended age groups.
