Join The Arc of Bartholomew County for our Annual Awards Ceremony! We will be announcing the recipients of the awards honoring those who have furthered the mission of The Arc as well as the recipient of the Ben Baker Memorial Scholarship. Join us for light refreshments and socializing.

Descriptions of Awards:
David Stambaugh Volunteer of the Year: Recognizes a volunteer who has given generously of time and talents to accomplish the mission of The Arc in meeting the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.
Educator of the Year: Recognizes an educator/teacher/person who works in the educational arena and has demonstrated excellence in teaching and assisting students with special needs.
Friend of The Arc: Recognizes an individual or organization that has performed outstanding service on behalf of people with developmental disabilities and their families.
Professional of the Year: Recognizes a person employed in the field of serving individuals with developmental disabilities and whose work has resulted in improvement in supports and services for people with disabilities and their families.
Self-Advocate Award: Recognizes an outstanding individual who is an achieving, inclusive member of his/her community.
Youth Recognition Award: Recognizes a youth or group of youths/organization that has performed outstanding service on behalf of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.

Hogstock
Hog Molly Brewing Company and Scott Wilson State Farm are teaming up to host their 5th Annual Hogstock: A Day of Live Music and Cold Beer on Saturday, June 21st from 3-10pm! This year's event benefits The Arc of Bartholomew County, an organization that promotes and protects the human rights of people with intellectual and development disabilities.
MUSIC:
Taking the stage throughout the event are five incredibly talented & local bands: Pokey Valley, Blues Underfire, Big Skies, 3 Beards Strummin' Band, and Cody Ikerd and the Sidewinders!
FOOD:
- The Tailgate Kitchen at Hog Molly Brewing
- Food Truck: Junkyard BBQ
- Food Truck: Slop Shop
DRINKS:
Hog Molly will have their full tap list along with a special Hogstock release, cider, NA beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drink options.

- Hogstock is family-friendly until 8pm only and tickets are required for everyone including children. After 8pm children will not be allowed at the event. Thank you for understanding!
- Please bring a lawn chair
- Everyone will receive a wrist band for the duration of the event, so come and go as you please
- No outside food or drink permitted
- Water bottles are FREE and there will be a water station provided by Burt's
- Please drink responsibly and bring a Designated Driver, or utilize ridesharing if needed
- No pets please, thank you

What to Expect: A lively day filled with music, dance, and flavors including:
Live performances including authentic Mariachi and traditional dance
Cultural and arts & crafts booths
Delicious food from Latino vendors

2nd Annual Sensory Friendly Egg Hunt
Note: This is not an Arc event. The Arc will have an information booth at the event.

This is a sensory friendly egg hunt for individuals with disabilities who have special sensory needs.
The egg hunt is split into 3 different age groups with a station hand-out hunting for those who don’t like grass.
This is a free community event for families with special sensory needs. All ages are welcome!

Hop Into Spring Pancake Feast Fundraiser
NOTE: This is not an Arc event.
Join Kiwanis & The Key Club for a fun filled pancake fundraiser.
There will be all you can eat fluffy pancakes, savory sausages, and drinks. You can also get your photos with the Easter Bunny, enjoy face painting, fun kids games, and more.

Just a reminder that our Self-Advocates Christmas Party will be on December 12th from 5:30-7:30.
We will meet at the Arc at 5:30 and head over to Silver Oaks to go caroling. We will then return to the Arc and have dinner. I have included a sign up link for anyone that may want to contribute to our dinner!
We will also do a white elephant gift exchange with a $10 limit so if you'd like to participate, please bring a gift. I've also included a flyer that you can pass out to your friends or post at any day programs you may attend!

The 24th Annual Buddy Walk to Support The Arc of Bartholomew Co. & Columbus Down Syndrome Support Group will take place October 12th, 2024, at the Donner Park Shelter House, beginning at 11 AM! The event is free and open to the community.
Join us for an afternoon of family fun, food, and a great cause! We will have face painting, balloon animals, a bounce house obstacle course, and more!
Local businesses and organizations will attend as vendors and will offer beneficial information on services, resources, etc.

Always Ready for Chocolate is coming back, and we hope to see you all there! The event will take place on February 10, 2023, at The Commons!
Join The Arc of Bartholomew County for an afternoon of tasty desserts from local bakeries and businesses, live and local entertainment, an art show/silent auction featuring art created by individuals with disabilities, and more! There will also be vendors with information on disability services in the area.
