Ways to Give

There are many ways to make an impact on the individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities that The Arc of Bartholomew County serves. As a non-profit organization, our mission to promote and protect the human rights of people with IDD and actively supports their full inclusion and participation in the community throughout their lifetimes is made possible by our incredible community who supports us.

All donations to The Arc of Bartholomew County and tax-deductible and will be followed with an official receipt acknowledging and thanking you for your donation.

We are beyond grateful for any and all donations that are made to our organization, as every donation allows us to expand or reach and grow in programming, resources, training, community involvement, and more.

Below lists many ways to leave an impact on individuals with IDD in Bartholomew County:

  1. One-Time Donation

    A traditional one-time donation is a great option to make an impact when you are willing and able.

    One-time donations can be made through cash, check, or card. You are able to pick the donation amount that you would like to give and do it all

  2. Monthly Donation

    Similar to one-time donations, you are able to choose the amount that you are willing and able to donate; but on a monthly basis. You can choose to cancel your monthly donation at any point through our online donation platform, as there are no contracts or official commitments.

  3. Round-Ups

    Round-Ups are one of our new and simple ways to donate to The Arc of Bartholomew County.

    Step 1: Sign Up

    Follow these steps to create an account & connect your debit/credit card & their bank in 5 mins or less.

    Step 2: Make Purchases

    Use your debit or credit card like you usually would throughout the month (online, in-person, paying a bill, buying a coffee, etc.). The spare change from each transaction connected to the card & bank will round-up to the next dollar, accumulate throughout the month & the lump sum accumulation of your monthly change will charge on the last day of each month.

    Step 3: Automatic Donation

    Our donation platform will donate the spare change that you have accumulated without you having to do a thing!

    Step 4: Confirmation

    The day before their round-up donation charges, you will receive a text message confirming your round-up donation, change that has accumulated throughout the month.

  4. Kroger

    Step 1: Create a digital account

    A digital account is needed to participate in Kroger Community Rewards. If you already have a digital account, simply link your Shopper’s Card to your account so that all transactions apply toward the organization you choose.

    Step 2: Link your Kroger Card to an The Arc of Bartholomew County

    Selecting the organization that you wish to support is as simple as updating the Kroger Community Rewards selection on your digital account.

    1. Sign in to your digital account.

    2. Search for your organization here.

3. Enter the name or NPO number of the organization you wish to support.

  • Search “The Arc of Bartholomew County” or use our Organization Code “HH185

4. Select the appropriate organization from the list and click “Save”.

5. Your selected organization will also display in the Kroger Community Rewards section of your account.

Step 3: The Arc of Bartholomew County Earns!

Any transactions moving forward using the Shopper’s Card number associated with your digital account will be applied to the program, at no added cost to you. Kroger donates annually to participating organizations based on your percentage of spending as it relates to the total spending associated with all participating Kroger Community Rewards organizations.

5. Planned Giving

Everyone wants to leave a mark on the world (or at least within their own communities). Gift planning is a tremendous opportunity to meet your charitable goals at a level you never thought possible.

Because your passion in life should also be your legacy. All we ask for is a pledge that you will consider us in your plans – whether that be a will, bequest, stock, estate.
